Craig and his brother Phil grow up in a highly religious family and environment. What they learn and what they see is based on God. Also the summer camp Craig attends. But on that camp he meets a girl, a girl he gets feelings for and when he stays at her house and with her family for two weeks his believes and thoughts start to crumble. What is he supposed to do with his feelings on the one side and his believes on the other? Can he pick a side in his struggle to understand what is happening?
A great ‘coming of age’ novel. Thompson, with his drawings and dialogues, really knows how to portray the life of a young boy growing up with God. A must read.

It’s Catherine’s birthday. She is turning twenty-five, but already spent most of her adult life caring for her manic-depressive father Robert, having to disgard her own study and student life. Now that Robert is dead she has difficulty to get her own life back on track. She doesn’t leave the house with all her father’s stuff and 103 notebooks he left behind. When her estranged sister Claire arrives and Hal, a student interested in her father’s work, shows up, she has to get out of her shell she built after Robert’s death and has to confront her own desires. She knows she inherited her father’s genius for mathematics, but has he also enherited his ‘madness’?

Dirk Gently is a detective, but not some ordinary detective. He seeks answers in the fact that things are connected with each other in an almost unexplainable way, a metaphysical way, or as Dirk says it: in an holistic way. So try to explain how these following components fit together in one story: a missing cat, two ghosts, a dodo, an Electric Monk, a professor, an ex university student, a greedy detective, detecting and triangulating vectors of interconnectedness of all things and the saving of the human race from total extinction. It’s a tough job, even for Dirk together with his college mate Richard, but hey, somebody has to do it.

Train_man and [Hermess] met on a express train, because nerdy train_man saves the day of [hermess]. At least that is what happens in volume 1 of this series. In this volume 2 the romance continues. Train_man went from nerdy otaku to a not so nerdy lovesick young man. They go on their first dates this time and of course the complete internet community at 2channel where train_man first went to support and help have their own opinions about to handle everything.
